Two sides, one sound

Alter Melego is a Belgian DJ and producer with two sides to his sound: the urban energy he grew up on and the house music he produces today.

Behind the decks since 1998, he made his name in hip-hop and R&B, and he has never left them. His urban sets still move between hip-hop, R&B, Afro and Latin heat, mixed with the instinct of someone who has been reading dancefloors for more than twenty-five years.

As a producer he works in house and electronic music: melodic house, deep textures and cinematic atmospheres carried by a strong groove. His tracks look for balance. Depth without heaviness, energy without aggression, emotion without excess.

Years as a club DJ and radio resident taught him how to build tension, guide a crowd and tell a story over a night. Whether the room wants urban classics or a sunset house set, the approach stays the same: music chosen by a music lover, for people who love music.
